I am in remission.
It’s been an incredible 4 years and every single minute is recorded in my hair.
This is my celebration of life, at 34 I have lived more than most ever do.
I am so blessed. -
so we have two pregnant cats, and one who just had a litter of kittens.
we have too many cats, and too little money.
so, helpful tumblr people, i need to get my boys neutered so i don’t have to go through this again.
there’s this site - getyourfix.org - where kind and generous people can sponsor a pet that needs, well… to be fixed.
here are the pages for my kitties:
Summer
Ghost
Havoc
if you can, i would love someone to sponsor any of my cats. but you can help simply by reblogging this, maybe some who can help will see it!(via lorelei-dreams)

CLICK HERE to see the New Pendants in the Shop!
Suri helped me make these! She’s my three year old Brazilian Rainbow Boa. I would collect her skin sheds when she was little, to keep track of her growth and now that she’s grown we’re working together to make jewelry that lives up to the name “Rainbow Boa.”
It’s hard to capture in a photo, but I’ve managed to set the skins under glass in a way that preserves their blue iridescent shine.
I’m a proud reptile mama. <3I have one of these, and it’s so super fabulous. Getchoself one!!
Tiina and Suri are fabulous, join the ranks and get a pendant!Posted on May 3, 2013 via i Blame Caffeine. with 72 notes

NO-COOK VEGAN FUDGE
Ingredients- 1/2 cup coconut butter*
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter**
- 2 small ripe bananas, cut into one-inch chunks
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder*** or regular cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch sea salt
Instructions- Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth, roughly five minutes or so.
- Use a spatula to pour the mixture into a flat, sealable container.
- Place the container in the freezer. The fudge needs to be super cold in order to retain its shape, so I find that it’s best to store the fudge in the freezer. If you store it in the fridge, it will have a semi-solid mousse-like texture.
Notes:
- *To make your own coconut butter, pulse 8 ounces of shredded, unsweetened coconut in a food processor until smooth, which will take 8 to 12 minutes. Please note that 8 ounces of coconut will yield 1 cup of coconut butter, which is twice what you need for the recipe. I recommend 8 ounces because I have not had any luck making smaller batches in my food processor; too many flakes stick to the side. Perhaps a very smaller food processor could do the job. If you make 8 ounces’ worth, you can save 1/2 cup of coconut butter for later (it’s great on quick breads, muffins and more), or you can double the batch and toss twice the remaining ingredients into the food processor after making the coconut butter. Just pour the mixture into a bigger container and refrigerate/freeze as directed.
- **Use raw peanut butter (here’s how to make your own) if you want truly raw fudge.
- ***Cacao powder is ground from raw cacao beans. It is not as processed as regular cocoa powder, which means that it is higher in antioxidants and nutrients and also tastes more intense than cocoa powder. You should be able to find a bag of it at your local health store or in bulk online. It’s great in smoothies, too.

džulory ladžala: Bare bala
My hair isn’t
just
hair.
It marks me as more or less of a
stereotype, an exotic
ethnicity.
Don’t dress like a Gypsy
my mother would say,
as she unceremoniously
hacked off my braids.
My hair isn’t
just
hair.
It’s a war zone;
a place to
atone for the sins
of the fathers
we…
Ma threatened to cut off my dreads.
Don’t be like Baba with all those coins sewn to her hair. They’ll make fun of you at school!

this is for http://this-is-not-belly-dance.tumblr.com/
cause I am a gypsy motherfucker
And I tribal belly dance, and I wear bindis.
and idgaf
Gypsy gypsy gypsy
P.S. haven’t you ever seen that tv show, american gypsy, or my big gypsy wedding. why don’t you flip out about that?
You’re racist.
The TV shows are also racist (and trust me, many of us Roma HAVE “flipped out” about that).
Wearing a bindi or belly dancing does NOT make you a “Gypsy”.
The word is an ethnic and racial slur for people of several ethnicies (including, but not limited to: Romani, Romanichal, Irish Traveller, and Sinte). It was used extensively during the Holocaust to exterminate Roma in Europe - including members of my family.
Your response is a “how to not respond when called out”… because you just make yourself look childish and stupid.
You can say “I’m a Gypsy” all you want - it won’t make you one. Ever. It’s an ethnicity. You’re born into it and can’t “become” it, no matter how many bindis you stick to yourself or how much you shake your white girl hips.
You are not a Roma.
You are NOT me.
I have more self respect for myself than posting passive aggressive images on the internet proclaiming I am an openly racist individual.
